Determining if a PC needs to be updated with software or hardware has been made simple and easy.  To make this necessary task easier HP has developed  an automated System Check for Notebook PCs which is now available.

What is HP System Check

space

HP System Check for Notebook PCs automatically compares known issues against current system software settings and hardware performance to detect and assist you with a solution. The HP System Check results will help narrow down the possible issues with your system and provide more information on how to resolve them properly.

NOTE: HP System Check is fully supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above, and Windows 98 SE and above Operating System.  HP System Check is not supported by browsers other than Microsoft Internet Explorer.

This 32 point system check returns a comprehensive report by issues found in and list each possible issue or update under one of  the following categories:

  • Windows Errors

  • Critical Issue Detected

  • Advice and Optimizing

  • Software and Driver Updates

After the report is displayed you can click on More Information to retrieve specific information around the issue or update identified.
